About the Opportunity
As we continue to expand our ornamental iron and structural steel company, we have an exciting opportunity for motivated Outside Sales Representatives - Residential to join our team in Las Vegas, NV on a permanent, full-time basis.
Join our high-energy, dynamic, and motivated sales team as we work together to nurture and expand our client portfolio. If you are a proven closer with excellent presentation skills and the ability to manage and develop accounts, we want to hear from you!
As an Outside Sales Representative - Residential, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Presenting and selling products/services using compelling arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Creating and nurturing positive relationships with clients, managed through our CRM
- Promptly actioning warm leads, and cold calling B2B, B2G, and B2C prospects
- Creating your own marketing strategy to generate/prospect your own leads
- Achieving agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Collaborating with other departments to achieve a seamless end to end customer experience
- Improving your knowledge and upskilling through feedback and continuing industry education
- Completing takeoffs and generating quotes based on customer needs and budgets
- Maintaining effective communications with other team members and our clients
- Reporting customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services to management
About You
In order to qualify for this role, you will need at least 1 year of proven experience as a high-performer in an outside sales role, including at least 3 years of relevant experience in construction or a related industry. You must also possess a valid driver's license (a company vehicle or vehicle allowance will be provided).
As our ideal candidate, you will also join us with:
- Previous in-home sales experience
- One-call closing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM software
- Superior communication skills, with the ability to draft compelling proposals and deliver presentations
- Knowledge of construction industry, with a passion for residential design
- Ability to build upon warm leads, cold call clients, and use your own marketing strategy to prospect your own leads
- Understanding of ornamental iron or related (asset)
- BA in business administration or education/certifications in a related field (asset)
You are a personable individual that can create and nurture professional relationships with new and existing clients. You are self-motivated, able to work independently and achieve your sales targets with minor supervision.
